Streets at Southpoint is a mega-mall located in Southwest Durham. There are currently 140+ stores, including five anchor stores (Belk's, Hecht's, JCPenney, Sears, and the first Nordstrom in North Carolina).
Other favorites located at Streets at Southpoint are The Children's Store, Apple Computer, The Gap, and Coach (bags). The Cheesecake Factory is a favorite for lunch dates, and for a nice dinner, Maggiano's is highly recommended.
Kids will enjoy the playful fountains, the sports-themed play area, and the bronze statues of kids and dogs throughout the inside of the mall.
On summer evenings, you can find live music near the movie theater entrance, as well as live performances such as magic shows or jugglers. In December, watch out for the Santa parade!
